Saul Metzstein: The really interesting shot we did [there], which is what Doctor Who has always wanted to do and never actually done, is the shot when you see the TARDIS as a box and you go into it in one shot. And we finally managed to do the “It’s bigger on the inside” shot.

I was actually thinking about this today when I rewatched the episode! I was like “Oh wow, they’ve never done that before.”

The little Tardis

give-me-tom-hiddleston:

Today I thought about what I could do and I ended up doing this

image

It may look a bit messy but I quite like this messy look.

If you wanna know how I made it then here you go if not then ignore the rest.

What you need: carton, brushes, glue, color,

STEP 1: You need  4 carton pieces in the same size and two smaler ones.

image

STEP 2: Glue all them together.

I painted it white just to bring out the color out more.

image

 STEP 3

After the white color is dry just paint it blue. I use blue and a bit of balck just to give it the right color.

image

STEP 4: Let it dry.

image

STEP 5

While it dries cut out 8 squares and 4 long pieces.

Make the squares white and the others balck.

image

STEP 6: Add the window stripes and the writing

You can use a normal pice of white paper for the Phone sign.

image

STEP 7: You need 24 little squares. They should be the same size as the windows. Paint them in a darker blue.

image

STEP 8 : Glue all the pieces to the “Blue Box”

I framed the quares with back to give it a bit of a shadow.

image

STEP 9 : I also added a little paper ball on top on painted in yellow.

I hope you liked it. I takes some time but just because you always have to wait for the color to dry. Anyway I like my little Tardis.
